Claudio Ranieri and Jarmie Vardy have been reunited again as a private detective duo driving around the country looking for Riyad Mahrez.
Leicester have recruited their Italian former manager as they believe him to be the only man nice enough to talk Mahrez into playing for Leicester again.
The duo have been struggling with their first task of locating Mahrez, however, following his disappearance after his failure to force through a January transfer.
On Saturday they were at Danny Drinkwater’s house in London, with Vardy battering the back door down at the same time Ranieri rang at the front door, following social media speculation Mahrez was kipping on his sofa.
“If you can tell us where he is, Drinks, it would be like the best speculative ball over the top you have ever played for Leicester,” Ranieri was heard telling Drinkwater at his kitchen table.
At the same time, Vardy reached underneath the table to stub cigarettes into his former team-mates knee.
“Have you tried hacking Riyad?” Ranieri asked Vardy as they left the property.
“Yeah, Claudio,” the striker replied, “I do it all the time in training. Only way to stop that flashy so-and-so down the wing.”
“I meant hacking his phone, to see where he is,” added Ranieri. “Shall we go and have another look around the Etihad?”
